County 2nd Team League Match Report

-v- Northamptonshire 

I am extremely proud of our 2nd team who played very well against a very strong Northamptonshire side, at Delaware Golf Centre, on 29th May.

The majority of singles matches went to the last two or three holes.

Well done to Lottie Heaver for a hole in one on the 7th & thanks to Andy, Northants Manager for supplying our team with water and bananas!

Result: Northants win 6 1/2 to Worcestershire & Herefordshire 2 1/2

County 2nd Team League Match Report

-v- Warwickshire 

The second team played their first league game of the season against Warwickshire today, 22nd May. This was a close match played in good spirit. There was nothing to choose between the teams following the morning foursomes when the score lay at 1 1/2 each. After some very closely contested games Worcestershire were victorious.

The final result being:

Worcestershire & Herefordshire 5 1/2   Warwickshire 3 1/2

Thanks must go to Kidderminster for being tremendous hosts good greens, good food and great support.
