A message from the Joint Girls’ County Captain 2025
Ruby Savage
I feel honoured to have been selected as one of the girls’ county captains for this season, and I am so grateful for the opportunity, as it is a position I have always hoped I could fill since joining the county.
I am fortunate to have been able to play for the team and play alongside so many of the other girls, whilst making new friends along the way. I can’t wait for this to continue into the 2025 season and for more girls to get the same opportunity.
I hope everyone has a great season that is full of success!

It is a great privilege to be offered this opportunity. I’d like to thank the county ladies for this opportunity, I am really looking forward to working alongside Ruby this season and over the last few years in the county girls section it has been great to be seeing new faces and the section growing giving an increase in depth and further opportunities for girls to get involved. I know the experienced members will continue to role model and mentor less experienced members, to increase their confidence. We have a great team ethos and I’m sure this will continue going into 2025 as we support each other as a team and champion each others skills. I am really looking forward to the year ahead, and let's go smash it, girls.
