English Seniors Championship 2022

Many Congratulations go to Captain Lesley Fox who has continued her fantastic season. 
After winning the Vets Championships and being a semi-finalist, losing to Maisie Whittall on the 19th, in the main Championships she was Finalist and Runner Up in the Ann Howard Trophy England Seniors (over 60). 
We are all so proud

AUSTRALIAN SPOONS 2022

Congratulations to the winners of the Australian Spoons Regional Qualifier today at Fulford Heath Golf Club - Hazel Rogers and Maureen Barnaville from Easthamstead Ladies Golf Club with 37 points.
This was a really close result with Harborne players Linda Jordan and Rosa Hancock plus Susan Clowes and Enid Robins from host club Fulford Heath also having 37 points but losing on count back. 

Thank you to Fulford Heath for looking after us very well the feedback from the players was great

Winners of the 9 hole competition at Junior County Championships 22nd July 2022

Congratulations to Amelia Lyness of Halesowen Golf Club winner of the Mary Fisher Rosebowl 9 hole competition at the Junior County Championships 
She was a Close winner from Lily Grice also of Halesowen and Miah Smith of Burghill Valley

County 2nd Team

Congratulations to our second team, winners of their County Match against Northamptonshire 6-3 at Droitwich Golf Club.

This means that they have now reached the 2nd team finals at Badgemore Park in Oxfordshire on Thursday 11 August. 

All spectators would be more than welcome if you are free

COUNTY GIRLS

Our County girls have been flying the flag again this week.
Maisie Whittall, Gaudet Luce, played in the English Girls u14 at Formby, her aim was to be in the top 10 and she achieved that by finishing 10th after three days of tough golf amongst the heather!
Louise Krone, Kings Norton, also entered the English Girls u14 playing well over the first two rounds but sadly missed out on the cut.
Niamh Bush, Gaudet Luce, entered the mixed North of England U14s at Southmoor Golf Club, Durham. Playing three rounds, Niamh won best nett overall u14 and best gross u12.

Great results girls!
