County Match Week 2022

The county hosting CMW in 2022 is Warwickshire @ Leamington & County Golf Club from 13th - 15th June 2022

The practice round will be held on Sunday 12th June.

The Welcome Dinner will be held on Sunday 12th @ 18.30pm.

Team photographs will be taken on Wednesday 15th June after play has concluded.

The preseason coaching and practice matches have been arranged. If players are making themselves available for CMW it is expected that they attend all pre season. 

Karen Greenfield is 1st Team Manager once again to assist the Captain Lesley Fox in shaping the team.

We welcome Jenny Hartley, County 1st Team Vice Captain to join in our preparations and CMW.

We are hopeful that W & H clubs will support the county team. We will discuss nearer the time regarding caddies, trolley pullers and spectators and post on the website.

During the match week we will keep the results up to date on the website with a link to the Midlands South pages. Also look out for our social media posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Format

The agreed format is 2 foursomes and 3 singles in each match, with each county playing against two other counties per day. The maximum squad size remains at 12.

In the Midlands South Region we have 6 counties:

• Northamptonshire
• Berkshire
• Worcestershire & Herefordshire
• Buckinghamshire
• Oxfordshire
• Warwickshire

Worcestershire & Herefordshire will be hosting CMW in 2024
