European Junior Golf Championships - Spain

LILI ROSE HUNT

Lili Rose Hunt won the European Junior Golf Championships held at Alcaidesa Links Resort, Cadiz, Spain.

Lili played 5 rounds, had gross scores of 72, 73, 73, 79, 72 and won the Championships by 13 shots.
Congratulations Lili Rose, such consistent golf, the County is very proud of you.

England Girls U16 National Championships - Shifnal GC 1-3 August 2023

 Runner Up - Maisie Whittall

Maisie continued her current good run of form into the English Girls U16 National Championships held at Shifnal Golf Club 1st-3rd August, by finishing in 2nd place in a strong international field of 92 girls.  

With four solid rounds of 75, 72, 73, 71 to finish -1 under par for the tournament, Maisie secured the runner up spot, which gave her a handicap cut into plus figures for the first time (+0.6).

Maisie Whittall has won the Girls under 15 Champion of Champions 54 hole tournament and Lili Rose Hunt was Runner Up in the 72 hole English Girls Open Stroke Play Championship event.

Lili Rose Hunt at  the annual Annika Invitational Europe for elite girl golfers. It is hosted at Halmstad Golfklubb, Sweden, 13th to 15th June.

In the Junior AM Lili shot 5 under, won nearest the pin and a Scotty Cameron putter.
All great news ahead of County Match Week!

Update - Lili finished T22 and scored +5 +3 in the 2 rounds to finish +8 in the main tournament.
